The AIM – Community Care Initiative (AIM-CCI) is led by the National Healthy Start Association and supports the development and implementation of non-hospital focused maternal safety bundles (MSB) within community-based organizations and outpatient clinical settings in states and communities that experience high incidence and prevalence of maternal morbidity and mortality. AIM-CCI addresses maternal morbidity and preventable maternal mortality among pregnant and postpartum women outside hospital and birthing facility settings to decrease disparities in infant and maternal morbidity and mortality. The program is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
